Sciengistics Releases RosterApps Workforce Management Solution

Sciengistics, a provider of staffing software for the airline industry, announced today the general availability of RosterApps, its workforce management solution. This latest offering extends the coverage of its solutions to now include the assignment and management of employee work schedules.

RosterApps enables employee self-service for tasks such as schedule bidding, vacation bidding, shift trades, time-off requests, and overtime requests. A flexible rule set controls schedule changes and rules can vary by work group or even by individual employee.

RosterApps is licensed on a subscription basis and delivered over the Web. At the option of the client it can also be deployed as an intranet application hosted at the client's site. It is a proprietary solution built using Microsoft® .NET technology and can scale to meet the needs of any sized organization.

RosterApps can be integrated with existing HR and Time & Attendance systems to further automate the employee scheduling process.
